Hello; my name is Aysu Farbiarz.
I’m the Head of Analytics of Customer Operations at Squarespace.
I have 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics and 5+ years of experience in Management.
After graduating from Franklin & Marshall with a degree in Economics and a degree in Philosophy of Mind, I went to do my Ph.D. in Psychology at Yale.
Over time, I became fascinated with the stories that data can reveal about people and decided to channel my psychology expertise towards a data analytics career.

I manage a team that defines KPIs, builds reports and dashboards, analyzes the customer experience, and reveals potential business opportunities for Squarespace.
Betterment: Senior Manager of Data Analytics
I built and managed the Product Analytics team. My team was responsible for defining KPIs, building dashboards, running A/B testing, and modeling user behavior.
Etsy: Senior Data Scientist
I’ve conducted numerous analyses for Etsy’s buyer-facing business, revealing new opportunities for Etsy and improving our A/B testing practices.
I ran surveys, usability testing, and analytics for a small education-technology start-up.
